Australian national team plaid their first game agents New Zealand in 1922, the team failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup in 1966 and 1970 but qualified for the 1974 World Cup in West Germany, It would prove to be the only appearance for the Australian team until the World Cup tournament returned to Germany more than three decades later in 2006 and then the Australian team was present in South Africa World Cup in 2010 and now they are present Brazil in the 2014 finals.
Australia home kit history has for the most time been a yellow shirt with green trimmings and green shorts, although in four occasions it has been green shirt with yellow trimmings and white, green or yellow shorts, the socks have mostly been white, green or yellow with trimmings of one or the other of the colors depending on which is the main color.

In my Home kit for the competition I use a traditional yellow shirt with green sleeves as was used in the 1983 kit and the 2010-11 kit, I also use a white trimming like was used in the 2010-11 kit but now in a different way, the shorts are dark green with a narrow yellow line on each side, and the socks are white with green and yellow trimmings like was used from 1973 until 1980 and is used now in the present 2014 WM kit. I put as details on the kit a kangaroo silhouette on the cuffs and the collar as the Australian team is often referred to as the SOCCEROOS ( the name is derived from a well-known symbol of Australia, in this case the kangaroo. The words soccerand kangaroo are combined into a portmanteau word as soccer-roo; ) I also use the flag of Australia on the back on the kit and on the front beside the Netherlands flag as Netherlands play in a same grope with Australia in the finals. ( that is to change to the next country flag the team play agents. ) I also use stars on the shoulders of the kit a star group that is to represent the southern cross constellation as can be found on the Australian flag and in the Australian football federation logo. On the shorts elastic line on the front is the star group and on the back the country logo on a shield in a smaller form. The socks bear the star formation and the kangaroos silhouette and the name Australia.
The away kit is in dark blue like it has been for the most of the time and here with light blue and yellow trimmings and build up the same way as the home kit.
The goalkeeper kit is much the same as the other tow but in dark grey and a lighter grey tone. The name and number of the players is on the back of the shirt and the number can also been seen on the front of the shirt.
